Through Project TEACH, Speech Pathology Services of East Tennessee provides individual, medically necessary services to approximately 1,200 students in nine school systems. Project TEACH is a collaborative program between the State of Tennessee Department of Education and the Department of Public Health. Our work is based on a medical model, so we can provide additional visits over and above the educational requirements, focusing on each child’s unique speech and language needs.

We currently administer Project TEACH programs in the following school systems:
  • Alcoa City Schools
  • Athens City Schools
  • Blount County Schools
  • Lenoir City Schools
  • Loudon County Schools
  • Maryville City Schools
  • McMinn County Schools
  • Monroe County Schools
  • Sevier County Schools
